We're Aither, the Japanese theater performance society. Aither is a Greco-Roman goddess who symbolizes the sky and atmosphere. Aither began its activity in 2001, and is celebrating its 9th year in 2009. Aither's main activity is the annual performance and preparations for the performance. One of the big advantages of being in Aither is that in the process of preparing for the theater performance, we learn and foster key life skills, such as helping each other, being considerate of others, and developing a habit of mutual understanding, and honing Japanese language skills. In addition to the performance, we have monthly meetings, birthday parties, MT's, and group theater viewings, all of which allow students to deepen ties with each other. If you are interested in theatre, or if you want to improve your Japanese skills, everyone who majors in the Japanese Studies (double major) can join regardless of class year or age.
